Project Description

I was appointed by the owner in March 2023 to design a new first floor internal mezzanine level to provide first floor storage facilities within the industrial unit.

The staircase and mezzanine were designed in accordance with current building regulation’s part B Fire Safety along with a fire strategy that was issued and approved by the estates team at south hams district council who own the building freehold and is leased to my client. Planning permission was not required on this occasion.

The works were completed by the client working with Swift Steel Metal Fabricators based in Plymouth with the final Completion certificate to sign off the works was issued on 3^rd December 2024 by Devon Building Control Partnership.
